. Hi, I'm Mark Carollo, I'm the president of All Seasons Construction. We specialize in structural concrete and drainage systems, perimeter drainage systems, and by structural concrete, I mean foundation replacement, retaining walls, and basement digouts, which have become popular lately. Which is converting a crawl space or a storage space into legal living space. I bought this company in 2007, and we have the same foreman and many of the crew members since I bought it, which means I have experienced guys who have been doing this and doing the same thing for a number of years. They are very experienced and very good at what they do. We have an operations manager who is in charge of the day-to-day operations of each job, as well as the foreman and the crew members, so we have several different levels of oversight on each job. We've had a number of people call us out to check their foundation, and upon an examination of the footing from within the crawl space or the lower-level storage space, I've told them that yes, you do need a new foundation, but this is a good candidate for a dig out. And yes, it does cost more to excavate and put retaining walls around the perimeter instead of a basic footing, but you may be adding as much as six to nine hundred square feet of living space. And in your neighborhood, that's going to increase the value of the house way more than what you're going to spend on the structural work. We have a policy of coming in at a price that is the price. It is not an estimate, it is a proposal, and I think people are afraid that once they hire a contractor, the contractor is going to dump a bunch of change orders on them, and it's going to turn into this big a job when they thought they were going to be paying for this big a job. We don't do that. I think of everything beforehand, and the price is built into the contract. When deciding to work with a contractor at this level, you need to consider things in addition to price. This is somebody who you're going to have a relationship for several weeks and maybe several months, and your contractor is going to have to interact with both your engineer and the city when problems come up, and they will on big jobs. Complications arise, you need to be working with someone who you feel comfortable can handle and work through those problems effortlessly. If you need foundation work or if you're considering adding legal living space, we have very good tools to help you make that decision. Please call All Seasons Construction, and I'll help you out. .
