Today we're gonna talk about preventative maintenance. Your home has water pressure. What does pressure do? So pressure when we know when something's under pressure that creates stress. Think of blood pressure. We'll use medical terms actually. When you have high blood pressure there's risks involved.
So same thing in your home. Your water lines, your water pipe that carries both hot and cold. It is under constant pressure. A healthy water pressure for a residential setting is anywhere between 40 to 80 pounds of pressure. Anything above 80 is harmful. Meaning things like your dishwasher, valve, your toilet lines, basically your whole entire Plumbing or appliances and fixtures that use water are susceptible to damage and then leaks. And then we know leaks causes damage to the surrounding area as well. So you wanna be preventative and have your water pressure tested.
