Video: Keeping Your Remodel on Budget

So how do we avoid cost overruns? We have sort of a step-by-step process. It basically begins at the first time that we, we talk and it ends at the end of the project. The first step. It starts on the phone. You know, when you call or we call you, depending on how we get in contact we ask what it is you're looking for.

We try to make sure that we, we document what it is that your ultimate goal would be. After that, we would come to your home. We would also, we would go through the project, we would see everything. We'd take pictures that way we make sure that we have the before pictures, and then we'll have the after pictures for you as well.

But we go through each stage exactly what it is that you're trying to look for, and we, we put, put it all together for you in a game plan. Okay? So here's what you want, here's where, here's how we're gonna put it together. The third step is we write a, a budgetary estimate for you. This estimate is going to include the entire scope of work, everything that we talked about, and also maybe some suggestions that.

That might help you as well. The third step is you we're gonna go through that estimate together. Again, we wanna make sure that everything that is there is included, that makes sense for your project. And also if there's anything there that doesn't make sense for your project, we want to take that out.

There's no point in having extra costs for things that aren't gonna make you happy. The final step after that, if everything makes sense, is we actually write a full contract. That contract, again, we're gonna go through it. And this is the time. If there's any changes, we'll go through that Again. We might visit the, the job site again, make sure we look at it again and again, a hundred percent, make sure that we're, we're seeing eye to eye exactly how this project is gonna go from start to finish.

And this way we're able to control each stage of the process. And there's no unexpected costs. There's no questions about what is, what is not included. Everything is clear from the beginning.
