Today we're gonna talk about panel upgrades and the reason you would need them. There's a couple different brands out there that are very bad, we would say. They are actually bad. If you have a Zinsco panel in your home, I would recommend talking to a licensed electrician as soon as you can to see about getting that panel upgraded or swapped out. These panels are known to have issues.
If you are having flickering lights in your home, that's a sign of a problem. If you're having dimming in your home, sometimes that's okay. But when your lights flicker, that is a problem, especially with these panels. So if I were you, I would get a licensed electrician to come look at that as soon as you can, just to make sure you're safe, your family's safe. Not worry about any fires.
The panels that are out there that cause issues that we are seeing that the insurance are not liking is Federal Pacific, that's a big one, Sylvania, and Zinsco. Those three panels are known to cause issues. If you have one of these panels in your home, I would recommend talking to a licensed electrician as soon as you possibly can.
