. Hi, my name is Chris Chapman, and I'm the president of Horticultural Services. We do probably about 50% residential work, 50% commercial work. Our primary focus is tree preservation. We do pruning, view clearing, Pest Control, a lot of Consulting, we do removals, stump grinding. Yeah, I'm a certified Arborist. I'm also a Master Gardener with University un of California. The crew that I'm working with now, I've worked with since 2001, and that's what it comes down to have a great deal of trust for them. The guys are trained according to ISA standards. They emphasize certification and continuing education and raising Professional Standards. Communication is really, really important. When I come out to a job site and meet with a customer, I listen to what they have to say, and I give them recommendations. I write out a proposal, and if we get the job, we go over to the customer's house on time, and we walk through the job. The Foreman, the climbers, the customer, and myself, and answer any questions that might come up at that time. Then the guys start the job, and when the job's done, I like to walk through the project with the customer again and make sure that they're satisfied. What customers tend to be apprehensive about are safety issues, they're primarily, and you know, I talked to them about ISA standards, how we've been trained, and this is how we operate, and it tends to make them feel a little better. Diamond certified is the next best thing to a personal referral. The Fear Factor that we were talking about earlier tends to go away. We try to be more attentive, try to offer a better quality service to your particular needs, you know the needs in your landscape.
