Each application is different. For example, we always recommend a minimum thickness of four inches, but for driveways, we recommend five to six inches, depending on your needs.

Will my concrete crack?

Concrete will crack no matter what you do—it’s just its nature. However, we do guarantee against major cracking. If your concrete cracks more than an eighth of an inch wide, we’ll fix it.

Will my project be disruptive to my neighborhood?

Concrete work can be noisy, so we don’t start working until 8am and we’re always courteous of our clients and their neighbors. If you have specific concerns about noise or disruptions, talk to us beforehand and we’ll try to accommodate.

It’s always important to consider water and drainage with patios, porches, and driveways. We need to take into account the slope of the area and where the water will go when it rains. In some cases, we’ll recommend or require drainage or adjustments to prevent water from pooling, but we’ll always let you know about that before we start working.
