It’s always smart to get estimates as far ahead as possible. If you can, aim to have your estimates in hand five to six weeks before your move date, and choose your company at least four weeks before that date.

Why should I get an in-home estimate rather than a phone estimate?

Phone or email estimates aren’t usually accurate, and they can lead to unexpectedly high costs when the actual moving begins. In-home estimates are a much better way to go because we can come to your home and complete a visual survey of your belongings, including items in closets and cabinets. It also gives us a chance to discuss additional needs or services, such as packing and unpacking, appliance preparation, crating, and storage. We can even point out potential extra costs or service requirements of your location that may not be obvious over the phone, like stairs or accessibility issues.
