It’s usually worthwhile to invest in quality when it comes to faucets, particularly shower and tub valves that are installed behind walls. Once these components are enclosed behind tile, replacing them can be difficult and expensive. A well-made fixture is more likely to perform reliably and resist peeling, tarnishing, and pitting.
