My name is God Petel. I'm the owner, president, and RMO of Golden State Designs. We operate in Northern California, mainly in the Bay Area in the Peninsula. We're located here in San Jose, California. Golden State Designs is a design build company. We specialize in additions, second floor additions, ADUs, kitchen remodelings, and bathroom remodelings. We like the process of sitting down with the client, understanding how they're going to use the space, then designing the space, and only then starting to get to the process of the construction and visualizing and creating their living space as they see it. Golden State Designs is a second generation general construction company. We started about 22-23 years ago as actually a handyman services back when I was in college. And from there on one thing led to another. We started getting more jobs. So we got licensed in the state of California. Today we're a fully operational licensed and bonded general construction company with about 32 to 34 full-time employees. We specialize in the design and construction. We consider ourselves to be a one-stop shop. You come to us, we understand what your needs are, and then we build it. Recently we worked on a project in Saratoga where the client had a big water leak and we were called by the insurance recommended us. He also received our referral actually from one of the neighbors. So it was a funny story. We met, they gave us a deadline of 4 months to get the house done because they needed a place to stay. In order to meet their expectations, we actually put three crews over there, not one and not two, because the house was spread. The kitchen was in one area and the five bathrooms were all over the space. So, we were able to get different crews and finish the job in 3 months. And we got raving reviews from the client and from the lawyer involved and from the neighbors which we already knew. That was a great success story for us.
