My name is Yefim Komarovsky. I am the manager of Classic Shades Painting. Classic Shades Painting is a painting contractor in San Francisco. And most of what we do is residential repaints. Well, we've been in business since 1985. And all these years we've learned quite a bit about what it takes to do a good job and to, uh, make the customer happy with it. Well, just last month we, uh, we came out actually to do an estimate for this, for this lady living in Sunset District. And, uh, she ended up hiring another company. Uh, and, uh, I would say a couple of weeks ago they called us and said, "Well, can you come back and fix the work that was done?" I said, "Well, you know, we, we don't normally usually like to come in and work after somebody else has worked on a job." So, I said, "Okay, you know, I will, we'll just come in and take a look." So, I came in and, uh, looked it over, gave an estimate, and then we did the work. And as the work was progressing, you know, he, she was, yeah, kept saying, you know, how, how great it was to have us there. I thought, "Well, we don't, we're not doing anything different. Uh, we're just doing our normal stuff." And, uh, when the job was done, uh, she said, "Uh, listen, you made the bitter taste in our mouths disappear. And the painting, it looks great." So. That was, that was good to hear. Well, most of our employees have been with the company for quite some time. We hire journeyman painters and then we train them, we take them through the training program, uh, to where they learn Classic Shades way of, of doing things. In all the years of being in business, we'd like to think that we've, uh, learned, uh, quite a few tricks, uh, that make the job look good and last for a long time. I was not going to be a painter. I didn't know what I was going to be. I was very young. But a, a neighbor noticed me kind of just hanging out the neighborhood. She said, "Well, what are you going to do?" I go, "I don't, I don't have no idea what I'm going to do." So, she took me literally by the hand and took me to a school. This was in Ukraine many years ago. She took me to a trade school and, and they said, "Well, the only thing available was painter." So, I go, "Okay. I'm, I'll be a painter." And I finished the trade school and, uh, you know, started working there for a little while and then when immigrated to the United States. To where I came here and, uh, and so I entered the another apprenticeship and, uh, after a few years he said, "Hey, you know, I, I had had a vision of what I might want to do now and I knew what to do in terms of, you know, the actual trade. So, I go, "Hey, I'll, I'll just, I'll just start a company." And so, we started the company at, at, uh, 1985. And lo and behold, I'm still here. Classic Shades Painting company's slogan. Well, it's right here on the, on, on our business card. Great-looking, long-lasting paint jobs guaranteed. If you hire us, you'll be happy you did.
