It depends on a variety of factors, but I can usually give a time estimate after I look at the jobsite. In some cases, the timeline may need to be adjusted later, but for the most part I’m able to accurately estimate a job’s duration.

I never increase the project cost for change orders. Whether the work is part of the original plan or added after the fact, my rate will be the same.

Different counties and cities have different permit requirements, so it depends where you live. Whether it takes a few weeks or a few months, I’ll let you know what to expect ahead of time.

I work with several subcontractors on a regular basis. They’re dependable guys who show up on time and do good work. If I’m working with a new subcontractor, it’s typically someone who was recommended to me by another trusted contractor.
