Henry’s Quality Electric Inc. in Petaluma, says today’s consumers are choosing LED lighting more frequently than ever. “People love LED lighting because it’s so flexible—it can be used under cabinets, in a yard, and even in commercial applications like storefronts and open signs. It’s also very efficient because it doesn’t place a heavy load on your electrical panel, and it’s a great choice for bathrooms and kitchens because the lighting is more natural than fluorescent lights.”

In addition to its practical benefits, Mr. Henry says LED lighting can be a safer choice for homeowners. “If you get exposed to an LED light, you won’t get a big shock because it has a smaller power load,” he explains. “That means it doesn’t blow circuits as often as traditional lighting, even if you have a lot of things plugged in at once.”

A: That depends on the type of project, but we try to tailor our services to help our customers as much as possible when it comes to pricing. We’ll give you an estimate for your specific job before any work begins.

Q: Who will be doing the actual electrical work?

A: Our owner, Bill Henry, is always onsite doing the work. He’ll talk to you, suggest the best solutions, and determine the safest and most efficient way to complete your job. You’ll get exactly what you want because you’ll be dealing directly with the company owner.

Q: How do you deal with data communications cabling?

A: First and foremost, we’re very particular about labeling cables, including disconnects, panels and commercial jobs. That way, you can look at all the separate parts and know where the lines are coming from without having to pull out the cables.

Q: Is my electrical panel big enough for all the electrical appliances I want to install?

A: We’ll have to look at your panel to determine if it’ll provide the power you need and if it has enough spaces. We may suggest upgrading your panel or other cost-effective solutions to meet your needs.

Q: How many computers can I plug into one outlet in my office?

A: That depends on the size of the computers, but it all goes back to how much your outlets and panel can take. We don’t recommend putting more than two or three computers on the same outlet. You should also avoid plugging computers and space heaters into the same outlets because that can overload the circuit.
