Kenneth Bailey: All-Star Service
By Julie Deacon, Diamond Certified Research Writer
For Kenneth Bailey, a career in the septic care industry began with an opportunity to build on something he already knew well. “It started back in 1996,” he recalls. “I already had pump trucks with my other company, North Bay Restaurant Services, because we were handling a lot of cooking oil and grease. I saw the potential to branch out into septic pumping and it just grew from there.”
What began as a practical expansion quickly evolved into a full-service business. Over time, Kenneth broadened his expertise by incorporating repairs and system installations while earning his contractor’s license along the way. As the scope of his work expanded, so did his reputation for tackling jobs that require both technical knowledge and creative problem-solving.
Today, AllStarz Pumping & Engineering serves a wide range of properties in Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties—a region known for its varied landscapes and unique challenges. From riverfront homes to hillside properties, no two jobs are exactly alike, and for Kenneth, that’s part of the appeal. “We focus on finding the best solutions for our clients,” he says. “There are a lot of unique properties out here, and we enjoy being presented with a challenge and figuring out the right approach.”
That hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset has become a defining aspect of AllStarz Pumping & Engineering. Rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach, Kenneth and his team take the time to address each customer’s specific needs and develop tailored solutions that work for their property.
Kenneth has called Sonoma County home since 1968, and he says staying rooted in the same community has given him a deep appreciation for both its people and its landscape. “Being close to family is important to me. Plus, there are so many opportunities to get outdoors, whether it’s hiking or going to the ocean.”
Outside of work, family plays a central role in Kenneth’s free time. Whether he’s visiting with his two children, Brittney and Nathan, or hosting a gathering at his house, he says he’s happiest when he’s with his loved ones. He also enjoys playing trombone, going to concerts, and wake surfing and wakeboarding when the weather allows.
As both a business owner and a problem-solver, Kenneth approaches his work with a clear sense of discipline and purpose—two elements that he says are crucial for success. “You have to be willing to work harder than everyone else,” he says. “You get out of life what you put in.”
