Jose Torales: A Lasting Impact
By Caitlyn Stair, Diamond Certified Research Reporter
For Jose Torales, no two days (or customers) are the same, and that’s exactly what he values most. In an industry built on essential work, he has found purpose in the people he meets and the impact he makes along the way.
Jose first got involved in the septic service industry more than 30 years ago, drawn by both opportunity and long-term stability. Over time, what began as a practical career choice evolved into something more meaningful, as he developed both his technical skills and his approach to customer service.
After years of hands-on experience in the field, Jose took the next step and founded Joe’s Farmer Septic & Grease Services, Inc. in 2001. Through consistent work and a focus on reliability, he built a business rooted in both service and strong relationships within his community.
Jose says he takes pride in being hands-on and staying connected to Joe’s Farmer Septic & Grease Services’ day-to-day work. “I like everything about this job, from going to houses and pumping tanks to talking to customers. Every day is something different.”
At the core of Jose’s approach is a simple motivation: make others happy. That attitude carries through in every job, helping him build trust and lasting relationships with his clients.
Jose lives in Santa Rosa with his wife and five children, where he appreciates the area for its central location. Outside of work, he’s deeply involved in his church and dedicates much of his time to giving back. “I’m a man of Jesus Christ, so I believe in helping people,” he affirms. “We do a lot of work for the community.”
That altruistic mindset extends to Jose’s professional philosophy. He runs his business the same way he lives his life: with a focus on service, generosity and making a positive impact.
