Hi, my name is Jeremy Owens. Hey, a couple quick tips and tricks for window installation. The number one question I get is, should I install a nail fin installation or a replacement window? If you're considering a replacement window, consider these things. If you have bad exposure, if you have a two story home gable top that faces south or maybe southwest, that's going to be your most exposed walls.
You might consider doing a full nail fin installation like this one here. If you have a cladding such as stucco or wood siding that's not doing so great, You might not consider doing a replacement window because you could open yourself up to water leaks in the future.
