What often gets missed by contractors is the mental and emotional toll of a remodel. It's not just the physical disruption, it's everything involved with it. The loss of your routines, the inconvenience of not being able to just go to your coffee maker in the morning, quickly scramble an egg before you jump in the shower, workers in and out of your house for weeks, uh, on somebody else's schedule, not yours.
Decisions are piling up faster than you can make them. Tiles, fixtures, paint, and on top of just getting through the week, it all has an impact. Whether it's a kitchen, bathroom, or full home remodel, plan for how your family will handle the disruptions before it starts, not once you're already living in it.
At Taragano Design & Build that's all part of the plan for us. It's not just an afterthought. Plan for things like where should we move our refrigerator? Or how much ordering in are we gonna need to do? Where should we put our coffee station? In the garage? Think these things through so that you and your family can have the least amount of stress as possible when doing a home remodel.
