Video: Order Finish Materials Early

One of the most common complaints I hear from homeowners about their last remodel is this: demolition is done, the house is torn apart, and then they wait a month or two with no kitchen because the cabinets still haven’t arrived. That gap, where your home is unusable and nothing is moving, is almost always avoidable.

At Taragano Design and Build, this is exactly where we make sure it doesn’t happen. Before we ever pick up a hammer, we check the lead time on every key material: cabinets, countertops, custom windows and doors, and anything else with a long order-to-delivery time. We order those long-lead items early, sometimes months before demo starts. So by the time your kitchen comes apart, we already know your materials are on the way. Less waiting, less uncertainty, and a timeline you can actually plan your life around.
