All right, so when is the best time to change your heating and air conditioning system? That's always a very sensitive question. It's provocative, especially coming from myself as A-H-V-A-C contractor. But what I could give you is facts. And these are three facts that you would look for in your home that would tell you, Hey, it's time for me to change it.
Fact number one, if you see spikes in your heating, your gas or electric usage. Do I need to go back? Yeah, let's do that. Fact number one? Yeah. Fact number one. If you see spikes or irregularities in your gas or electric consumption on a monthly basis obviously you're heating or air conditioning system, depending on which one you're utilizing the most at this at time of year is gonna use a lot of energy.
It's super important for us to monitor our bills. If you're starting to see that there is elevations in it please feel free to give us a call. We will come out to your home. Look at your windows. HVAC systems are just like cars, just like your car. Every 3000 miles, you get your oil change. Heating and air conditioning system need to be maintenance pretty regularly, even here in the Bay Area. So if your system's over 10 years old, you were not really diligent about getting your system maintenance super important to get your system inspected.
