We'll be talking right now about water heaters. Every home that we know of do have water heaters, something we'd like to take shower with, and do our dishes well. Many people try to save money on energy, on gas, and therefore they turn the knob. Every water heater has a little knob at the bottom to turn it down, to turn down the temperature. Some people will put it at low. Some people will put it at sea. My expert advice to you is, no, don't do it. I'll give you a little bit of a physics, a little bit of background.
Water heater is extremely important. When we are heating up the water and the water starts to heat up in, uh, inside of the tank, the bacteria is being created simply by heating up that water. So we wanna make sure that our control, the gas control at the bottom of the water heater points arrow at B letter B as in boy, letter B, which will have a 140 degrees setting. That's the temperature we need To kill that bacteria that it's growing inside of the tanks. And we are ultimately don't wanna be showering in that bacteria. We don't wanna be washing our dishes in that water.
So if you were to ask me, well, the water is too hot and we'd like to save money by consuming that energy, my advice to you would be you gotta mix it up inside your showers or inside your kitchens. Or there are other ways to go to tankless units. Tankless units has been in the industry for at least maybe a couple of decades. It's a game changer. It's a definite, definite way to go if you wanna save, can conserve, uh, uh, money on your energy. It's a high efficiency unit. Uh, and they work certainly different.
