[Music] Hi, I'm Sally Lang, owner and founder of Bliss Design Build. I've been in the design build business for over 30 years, and I started this company to bring high quality craftsmanship and a smooth, respectful process to residential construction. Bliss Design Build is a full-service residential construction company. We handle everything from kitchen and bath remodels to full home renovations, ADUs, and custom new builds. We guide our clients from the initial design all the way through construction so they have one team and one clear process from start to finish. What sets Bliss design build apart is the way we listen. We take the time to understand what really matters to each client. Not just the look of the project, but how they want to feel in their home. We combine that personal approach with a strong project management, clear communication, and high quality craftsmanship. Our team is made up of experienced, skilled professionals, from our architect Amy Harwin to project managers, craftspeople, and subcontractors, many of whom have been with us for years. We're currently working with a wonderful couple with a new baby who just bought their home. There were things they loved and things they wanted to update, including creating a guest suite from the crawl space. We helped craft a plan that's making the home truly theirs. As part of the renovation, we're also seismically strengthening the structure and adding fire-resistant elements since it's in a wooded area. It's a complex job, but everything is running smoothly and on schedule, and they've been really happy with the collaboration. It's an unusual story. I'm adopted and I've always been drawn to building. I started out as a carpenter and in my 20s, I tracked down my birth mother and learned that she had a design build business and my birth grandmother had designed and build homes, too. So, I guess it's in the blood. I named my company Bliss to honor their legacy. Bliss is their last name. I love helping people shape their spaces to fit their lives with craftsmanship, clarity, and care.
