[Music] Helpful expertise means, for us and for me and my team, pretty much means that we used all matching accessories for the roof, and we give as much information to the homeowner. Some of them are very curious about the roofs since it's not something they change, you know, every year. But a lot of homeowners just want the basics, want to make sure we're using the right materials, and we're using adequate ventilations for their house because it's usually their one of their biggest investments. So, they want to make sure everything's watertight and, the warranty isn't going to be voided from anything we do or anything that they do. I got into the roofing industry through my family. Coincidentally, my father was a roofer. He started in '94 and, our families in Texas, no communications saying that we're roofers, became roofers as well. Same with our family in LA. They also became roofers. So, it's just in our blood somehow. Here, my father started dynamic roofing in 2006. I started on the roof when I was 14, for about half my life, and my brother started when he was 16. And then my uncles have been with us for over a decade. So it's all just been running in the family, putting food on all our tables and clothes on our backs for pretty much my entire life. So it's all I know. So what inspired Alfonso, my father, to start the business was back in 93 he was picking walnuts in Reading in Reading in Redluff in that area. And then he was tired. he just had my brother and sister and my both my parents worked at the facility with the walnuts, and they were just not making enough money. So my dad decided to start roofing and because it was so hot over there, he had to start at 3 4 a.m. and he just fell in love with it. So then he moved over here to the Bay Area. He started working with one of the local guys. He's still around Rogers Roofing and you know everything after that. He worked with them for a little over a decade and decided to get his license once he was finally able to become a citizen and we've been working ever since. One of my favorite things about the work is just the seeing the customer their satisfaction, how the peace of mind that I give them. A lot of times I deal with a lot of older homeowners and I've heard a lot of like horror stories of how they were just completely taken advantage of or lied to or misled. So, I try my best to make them feel as comfortable and I try to be as transparent as possible to make sure everybody's on the same page. There's no surprises and you know I just try to imagine like what if that was my family that that was my mom my grandma my grandpa that was misled or completely ripped off and I would feel terrible. So, I try my best to you know try to be as helpful and honest as I can with everybody. So, some of the questions I always think is a good idea for customers to ask all the roofing industry is the manufacturer, the accessories, and the warranties to make sure that they're going to be covered and they're clear on what things are covered and what is not covered. And they also want to make sure that they're working with a licensed professional who is fully licensed, insured, and bonded just in case anything goes wrong. The homeowner does not want to be liable for, you know, potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they want to make sure that the permitting for the city is also taken care of so they're not, you know, running into problems with the city down the road and having to deal with that headache after the fact.
