Making it Easier to File Complaints Against Airlines

<p></p> <img src="https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/dcr-apis/wp_contents/uploads/DCR-ADMIN/airlines.jpeg" alt="undefined" style="height: auto;width: auto"/> <p></p> <p>At a time when many consumer protection agencies are managing budget cutbacks and/or being eliminated, I was surprised to learn that the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has launched a new complaint system to make complaining about air travel services easier! While the agency doesn’t respond to most individual complaints, they use the data collected to monitor the airlines and identify trends that may lead to new regulations.</p> <p>The outdated USDOT system dates back to the 1990s, so updates were sorely needed.
