Spring Training for Your Team!

by GregLouie

Spring is a season of renewal. In nature, new grasses grow, flowers bloom and birds nest. For consumers, moods brighten, home improvement projects are planned and winter-delayed health appointments are booked. For company managers, it’s a time to achieve performance numbers, optimize employee skills and generate more referrals.

For the Giants and A’s, spring is a great opportunity to work on perfecting the fundamentals. As the MLB season gets underway, I can’t help but reminisce about my own history with America’s pastime. Here’s something you might not know about me: from the age of 19 to 25, I was a semi-professional baseball player. It seems like a lifetime ago, but it’s true—I played on a number of tournament teams that competed across the United States and even played against international teams like Australia and Japan. I was mostly an infielder and outfielder, but I occasionally did some relief pitching as well.

Throughout my baseball career, I was surrounded by dedicated coaches who helped me sharpen my skills and taught me about the intricacies of the game. Although they were all working toward the same goal (helping our team win), each specialized in his own area: hitting, fielding, pitching, etc. That got me thinking about how the Diamond Certified Resource works for top rated companies. In the game of attracting Quality Customers and increasing sales, we are your head marketing coach, and we’re always ready to utilize our vast amounts of experience to bring your company to the next level (if you qualify for Diamond Certified).

If baseball isn’t your cup of tea, you can also think of the Diamond Certified Resource as a consultant—a specialist who acts as a highly skilled temporary employee to help you solve problems. Consultants tend to work with many different companies, which means they have experience working through specific problems and can provide a valuable perspective based on what they’ve seen work (and not work) in the past. Your company might have an important problem that needs to be solved, but what if you don’t have the in-house resources to focus on it? After all, you still need to concentrate on your day-to-day operations, and a new problem-solving project will likely require you to reprioritize some employees’ core job responsibilities. On the other hand, hiring new employees to fill these gaps isn’t always the best solution either.

This is precisely where the Diamond Certified Resource comes in. If you qualify for Diamond Certified, you’ll have access to an entire team of consultants who have wide-ranging expertise in all types of marketing strategies, from our experienced and knowledgeable Service Directors to our videographers, writers, editors and SEO experts who are ready to help you grow your influence throughout the Bay Area. And the best part is, you don’t need to do anything—it’s all included with your certification. Talk about a winning formula!

More Diamond Certified Expert Contributors to be Featured on Our Home Page
In 2018, we’ll be featuring Diamond Certified Expert Contributions in more places than ever before. The first step of this plan was revealed in February with our KTVU.com banner ads, and I’m happy to announce the next phase: Starting this month, we’ll be showing 12 Diamond Certified Experts on our highly trafficked diamondcertified.org home page, which is eight more than are currently shown. These Diamond Certified Experts will be prominently featured for seven days, after which point they’ll rotate to another set of 12. This will be a great way for Quality Customers to see you as the owner of a top rated company and a noted authority in your field (if you qualify for Diamond Certified).
