It’s important to remember that living at home during a remodel is no picnic—besides having workers constantly going in and out of your home, there will likely be noise and dust. If you’re thinking about remaining at home, you should ask your contractor the following questions: </p> <ul> <li>How do you plan to mitigate dust in my home? Will you put up plastic and/or use air filters? </li> <li>How noisy will the equipment be? Are there ways to reduce the noise?</li> <li>Where will the crew use the restroom?
