Wear ear protection. Whether you’re using power tools or attending a concert, make sure you wear proper ear protection like earplugs and protective earmuffs. This is even more important if it’s something you do on a regular basis or for work.

2. Have your hearing tested. It’s easy to put off having your hearing tested, but doing so can have substantial consequences. Have abnormal conditions evaluated. If you experience tinnitus (a continuous ringing of the ears stemming from an exposure to loud noise) or dizziness from an inner ear problem, you should have these conditions professionally assessed. There are solutions available today that weren’t available in the past, so you may benefit from a second look.

Use Diamond Certified Resource to find top rated companies.

Related Articles
The Essential Guide to Hearing Services
Get Expert Advice From Owners of Top Rated Local Companies
Become a Diamond Certified Preferred Member (Always Free)
