Eduardo Candelario: A Concrete Legacy
By Caitlyn Stair, Diamond Certified Research Reporter
When Eduardo Candelario founded Building Legacies Construction in 2024, he wasn’t just starting a business—he was investing in his family’s future. Inspired by his children and driven by a desire to leave them with “something of value,” he approaches every project with the same care, craftsmanship and long-term perspective.
Eduardo’s journey into the concrete industry began in 2010, when his father introduced him to the trade. What started as a learning opportunity quickly became a passion once he realized that each project presented creative challenges. “I’ve always liked transforming raw materials into something meaningful,” he says. “It’s satisfying and it keeps me engaged.”
Today, Eduardo enjoys helping property owners transform their ideas into reality through high-level craftsmanship. He says that while every project presents different challenges, the reward is always the same. “My favorite part of this work is seeing the joy on a client’s face when their vision comes to life.”
A resident of the Bay Area for nearly two decades, Eduardo currently lives in Santa Clara with his wife, Geovane, and their children, Damian and Ellen. “I like this area because it’s very peaceful and friendly,” he says. “Also, I can get to a lot of jobs throughout the South Bay without doing too much driving, which is nice.”
Outside of work, Eduardo biggest hobby is customizing trucks by adding unique designs, accessories and performance upgrades. “I like the truck transformation process because it allows me to express my creativity and use my mechanical skills,” he says. “Besides that, I love spending quality time with my family, whether we’re going on road trips, hosting barbecues or simply enjoying a movie night at home.”
Ultimately, Eduardo’s faith shapes the way he approaches both business and life. Rather than measuring success solely by completed projects, he says true fulfillment comes from living with purpose. “I have faith in God, so I find that everything is possible and meaningful.”
