Aziz Osmani: Building With Integrity
By Julie Deacon, Diamond Certified Research Writer
Aziz Osmani’s path into the construction industry began in 2016, when a family member connected him with a general contractor. He already had several years of experience as an electrician, but as he worked alongside the contractor, he was able to gain valuable experience across a wide range of projects. “Over time, I realized that I was handling pretty much everything on the jobsite and my clients were happy, so I started thinking about establishing my own company,” he says. “I realized there was more opportunity in general contracting than electrical work, so I got my contractor’s license and started Aziz Construction in 2023.”
Today, Aziz leads his company with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and reliability. To that end, he says the most rewarding part of his job comes at the end of a project. “It’s a great feeling to see the clients smiling and happy with the finished product. That’s why I make sure we always deliver on our promises.”
That commitment sometimes means going beyond the original scope of work to help clients with smaller issues. “We try to take care of the little things that tend to come up in construction,” affirms Aziz. “Ultimately, we want them to feel cared for throughout their projects.”
Aziz lives in Fremont with his wife and their three children, where he appreciates the cultural diversity of life in the South Bay. Outside of work, he enjoys horseback riding—a hobby that dates back to his childhood in Iran. “I grew up riding horses and I still enjoy going a couple of times a week,” he details. “I have friends who have horses, too, so we like to hang out and ride together.”
When it comes to a personal or professional philosophy, Aziz is guided by the advice of his late father. “He always told me, ‘Don’t lie and everything will be OK,’” he offers. “Integrity and honesty is all we need.”
