Video: Gutter Replacement Tips

When we replace roofs, most houses do replace the gutters at the same time. Important pieces there are when you replace the gutters, if it's possible to slope those gutters to the downspout, that's ideal. And, in that same lane, the downspout location is important as well so that the water does drain and doesn't sit in the gutters too long. One Part of that is also is making sure that the gutters are free of tree debris or have a gutter screen on them. If the downspouts or the gutters get clogged with tree debris, they're going to overflow and get damaged quicker. A gutter screen is also a solution for that too. Putting a screen on top of the gutters to keep the debris out keeps those gutters from deteriorating quicker than they should.
