When it comes to refrigerator maintenance, here are three things that I recommend: Vacuum out your condenser regularly, replacing your filters as needed, and keeping your gaskets clean. 

So as far as cleaning the condenser, most of them you can remove from the front axis. Remove the front grill and vacuum out underneath. If you have pets, hair will build up on the condensers, so it's a great idea to remove that grill and vacuum and brush it out. In relation to the refrigerator door gasketing, you want to clean the gasket well with soapy water and the frame that the gasket seals against. This will help your door seal better and last longer with the water filter. Make sure you change it on a regular basis. These tips will help your refrigerator run more efficiently and last longer.
