so many times people come here to the show and ask me show what is better for my countertop material the quartz or porcelain so both material are great options H quartz is a material that is man-made and therefore there is a lot of options a lot of color to choose from um it is a zero porus so it's maintenance free it is a strong material uh and great to work with um porcelain on the other hand is a little bit more condensed uh it also comes in many different colors it is actually uh more print on kind of design so there is more details in the printing in the colors and um because it is more condensed it's also scratch resistance stain stain resistance and also heat resistance so for me it's a great material overall porcelain is a little bit more expensive uh and quartz would be a little bit more cost effective I would say
