My name is Gilbert Rodriguez. I'm the founder of Roof Ty'n. We're based in Sacramento, but we also serve the Bay Area. At Roof Ty'n, we offer roof replacement, roof repair, dry rot. We offer different options on different roof types: tile, concrete tile, composition shingle, the presidential, flat roof, TPO. Tear down. We do seal gutters with different color options. The most common roof type that we install is composition shingle. The benefits are, it's a cool roof that will be an energy-efficient, low cost on, you know, labor, and also a low maintenance. We started Roof Ty'n. Started, you know, doing roof, back in 2006 with a non-company. The reason I started my company because I see a lack, a lot of lack of communication between the owner and the salesperson, and, you know, there’s hidden prices. Like they will come and tell the, you know, the, for a full roof replacement, or a clean, the deck replacement, it was, you know, they were getting overcharged. And often that owner would try to get a hold of the, you know, the, the salesperson who did the contract with, and it was no response. So, one of the reasons I started was because I wanted to be honest with the, you know, get a price upfront, no hidden prices, and not these big invoices, you know, in the middle of the job. Today, we have three crews. We're running two, three jobs per crew a week. And, you know, with, we like that communication. We have good communication with the owner. They get an honest, upfront price. So, they don't have these thousands of dollars in the middle of the price for a new re-deck when they only needed it. And if they did, you know, we always provide that upfront, not, you know, in the middle of job. Recently, we had a phone call, for a client that needed a roof repair. He was, he had two other, you know, roofer estimates, you know, a year earlier, year, like, a couple year ago, to fix their problem, but it wasn't just a fix, it was just a band-aid. So, what we did we are we inspected the roof, removed one of the, the roof type, which it was a tile concrete. We removed it with, you know, we spotted the problem. So, we decided to come down and talk to the, to the owner and, and tell him that we can provide them with, the problem was all on the valley. The metal wasn't, you know, wasn't holding it well. So, we ended up, you know, took a metal, so we can provide that to that on the water and debris will not hold that. We also install ice and water shield, on bottom and top of the market to avoid any leakage. After, you know, we repaired the, the roof, you know, it's been two seasons, two rainy seasons now and we haven't heard any callback that the roof has any leakage. He ended up, he did all, but for asking me for, her father needed a new roof, his estate. So, we provided and we ended up, you know, getting a new owner and long relationship.
