My name is John Castalano. I'm the owner and operator of John Caleno Concrete Construction. We do mostly residential work, from basements all the way up to the foundations, uh, flat work, custom concrete, masonry work, house leveling, and then commercial as well. We do a lot of design builds and work with the customer and set the forms and move them around where they like them, and then offer different ideas and concepts and whatnot, and work our way through that. Then we work as well just off a set of drawings. We can obviously build what's on the drawings pretty much, but there are always, you know, a few little details there you have to iron out. Well, we were working on a project a few weeks back, and the couple had a few young children, and they had a play area that was all messed up. While we were over there on the job, we cleaned that all up and graded it out for them and put their toys back in there, and they were all excited. That was kind of fun. We do, we go the extra mile, little things like that for customers. Their deck collapsed; they had a deck and it was all rotted, and we came in there real quick and tore it all out and put a nice patio on there. They're on there like the day after we did it, you know, they couldn't wait, the kids. So, uh, a lot of people are worried about the concrete cracking and then, uh, people taking their money from crooked contractors out there. Well, I tell them I do everything I can to prevent it, use the best materials, and do all the tricks of the trades and what I've learned over the years. There's a lot of additives in the material you can use to help the shrinkage and everything, and it's, uh, just a lot of experience. You don't even have to give me a deposit. I'll start the job, and then after you're happy, you can give me a deposit.
