Q: How much will my roofing project cost?
A: That depends on the type of home you have and the roofing material you choose. It’s important to remember that quality work comes at a higher price. We need to hire the right people to do the job correctly, and that costs more.
Q: How long will it take to finish my roofing project?
A: Most average-sized homes take about a week to re-roof. For bigger homes, it can take a couple of weeks to a month. Regardless, we’ll give you a schedule before work begins and stick to it, barring any unforeseen circumstances that may make the project run longer.
Q: Do you offer warranties on your work?
A: Yes. The details of your warranty depend on the roof you choose, but we offer a full manufacturer’s warranty on all our work. We also provide our own labor warranty, which runs between five and 10 years depending on the type of roof.
Q: Will you protect my home and landscaping while you’re working on my roof?
A: We go above and beyond to protect our customers’ properties. We put down tarps before we arrive, scaffold the home (if necessary) to protect its landscaping, tarp the attic and do anything we can to keep the house as clean as it was when we got there. We also clean up the jobsite at the end of each workday and make sure any uncompleted roofing is watertight before we leave for the night.
Q: Is it possible to install a new roof if I have solar panels on my current roof?
A: Yes. Our sister company, Bay Area Energy Solutions Inc., is fully capable of removing, repairing, retrofitting and installing solar panels.
Q: Can a new roof reduce my energy bills?
A: It depends on the roof. For instance, we can remove an old tar and gravel roof and install a cool roof, which will reduce your attic temperature by 30 to 50 degrees and keep your home from absorbing extra heat.
Q: If I have a satellite dish or antenna on my roof, will you put it back in the same location after the project is complete?
A: We can put antennas back, but if you have a satellite dish, you’ll need to have the cable company come out and reinstall it. We can put it back where it was, but the dish company will know where to place it to get the best reception.

A: We try to buy local services and products whenever possible.
