Video: Circuit Breaker Warning Signs

One other question we get is when a breaker trips and what it really means. It means that something is wrong. It means that there's an overload, a short circuit damaged wiring, damaged cords. There's a danger to just resetting the breaker. It means you can be breaking down them. Parts of the circuit, you're overloading it, you're damaging the wires. So if you smell burning or if you unplug everything, you reset the breaker and it still trips that, that's time to give give someone a call.
