One of the easiest ways to keep your windows looking clear is to prevent hard water from reaching the glass in the first place, so if you use sprinklers to water your lawn, it’s important to check where they’re spraying.
When sprinkler water dries on glass, it can leave behind mineral deposits that gradually build up into hard water stains. Once the buildup becomes significant, a standard window cleaning may not be enough to remove it because the minerals can form a scale-like layer on the surface.
To prevent this issue, adjust all of your sprinkler heads so they spray away from your doors and windows. Replacing the heads with ones that provide better directional control may also solve the problem.
