Owners Mark and Brian Edwards are the originators of the Sun Tunnel, that magical mystery tour that routes sunlight to dim spaces. They also developed the solarpowered attic fan. After Velux America bought the Sun Tunnel from them in 2002, they launched NuLight Solutions to distribute and install Velux skylights as well as the Sun Tunnel and the Fan-Attic.

The Sun Tunnel fits between rafters and joists (either 16-inch or 24-inch centers) and requires no framing. The inside surface is highly reflective to bounce the light to where it's needed.
