Hauling Pros Inc. dba Dig & Demo removes rubbish for residential and commercial customers throughout the East Bay. The company has several crews that handle diverse projects such as construction clean-ups, whole house demolitions, pool and hot tub removals, bobcat services and more. It also recycles the majority of the material it collects from clients, such as computers, cell phones, electronic waste, scrap metal, household appliances, and mattresses and box springs.
Owner Ryan Crownholm started Hauling Pros in 2000 as a one-man, one-truck operation. Mr. Crownholm’s business has since expanded to feature a fleet of workers who handle 30 to 40 jobs per day, but he says he’s elected to keep the company small so he can remain personally involved in every project and provide impeccable customer service.
As a Bay Area Green Business, Hauling Pros is committed to preserving the environment through its business practices. The company recycles a minimum of 50 percent of all the materials it receives and donates usable items to Bay Area nonprofits. It also operates two recycling centers that are open to the public for free electronics drop-off and low-cost appliance recycling.
