Barry’s Carpet Service, Inc. cleans and repairs carpets; upholstery; area and Oriental rugs; and stone, tile and wood flooring for residential and commercial clients throughout the Monterey Peninsula. The company uses state-of-the-art cleaning equipment and products (Chemspec, Pro’s Choice, Prochem) to treat stains, repair water damage and reverse general wear and tear.
Owner Barry Vasu established Barry’s Carpet Service almost three decades ago to combine high-quality cleaning services with excellent customer service. Today, Mr. Vasu works alongside his two sons, Bryan and Benjamin, to maintain the high standards he originally set for his firm. “Since we’re a family-owned business, we can give individual attention to each customer and their cleaning needs,” he explains. “We look carefully at each item to be cleaned and talk to each other about the best course of action to take.”
Barry’s Carpet Service’s cleaning technicians undergo consistent training and attend regular classes to stay updated on new industry products and techniques, a careful approach that ensures customers receive the best possible cleaning services. Barry and Bryan are both IICRC Master Textile Cleaners—a distinction that requires certification in seven areas of cleaning and five years of continued industry education—and Barry has recently been designated as a Certified Rug Specialist for his expertise in Oriental and specialty rug cleaning.
