Leonardo Da Silva: Building on Quality
By Caitlyn Stair, Diamond Certified Research Reporter
For Leonardo Da Silva, quality construction begins with a straightforward principle: Do the job right the first time. It’s an approach that has guided him from his earliest hands-on experiences to his current role as owner of Generation Builders Inc.
Originally from Brazil, Leonardo earned a degree in electrical engineering before moving to the United States. After having his education and credentials evaluated, he began establishing himself professionally and entered the construction industry in 2005. “Over time, I expanded my knowledge and started my own company to deliver high-quality, reliable construction services,” he says.
Today, Leonardo remains closely involved in Generation Builders’ projects and takes pride in watching each progress from an initial idea to a finished space. “I love seeing a project come to life and delivering results that exceed the client’s expectations,” he says.
A resident of Foster City, Leonardo says his favorite aspects of life on the Peninsula are the diversity, continued growth and wide range of opportunities. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active; learning about new construction methods; and spending time with his wife, Deborah, their son, Eduardo, and their daughter, Louise.
Whether he’s overseeing a project, learning something new or planning for the future, Leonardo continues to follow the same standard that has shaped his career from the beginning. “I just believe in doing things right the first time,” he affirms.
