Let's talk about permitting. So important. You must permit, but with permitting, there's challenges. And it's called timeline. We're talking about, like, the difference between county and a regular city. County has a lot more load because they're handling more city departments to get things approved.

There's always going to be some type of delay depending on that and depending on your project. If you decide to go with a site specific engineering project, which means you made a custom job for your house, we have to have an engineer. Do the calculations on it before we turn it into the building apartment.

And then the building apartment gets ahold of it. They can kick it back to the engineer for more information that causes the delays. It happens all the time. And we have to tell our customers, please be patient. It's out of our control. Do not contact the engineer or the building apartment. Call your contractor, talk to them before you go over their head and you'll find that the process will go a lot smoother.
