When hiring or choosing a pavement company things that you really should take into consideration. First and foremost, make sure that they are licensed, bonded, insured, and they have the necessary qualifications to do the kind of work you're looking for, whether it be commercial or residential. Make sure they have the proper qualifications, and also ask about warranties. Warranties are really, really vague and they really depend on the scope of work as well as longevity and if you decide to maintain your project, which some of my customers actually opt not to, but it does affect the cost of the overall project. And number three, which is really important, ask, I always ask for a reference. Whether it be a physical address, you can go look at a project that's been completed, start to finish a phone number, and even like testimonials go a long way. They really show what a company is made of and what kind of history they have with this particular client.
