So I want to just address the difference between a GC general contractor like Dynamite Construction or a DIY approach. There are definitely awesome, awesome things you can do from a DIY perspective, but in our experience, we found that in frequently costs a costs a lot, and it's not just about the money.
It can take months and months and months to do something that we could do in just a few weeks. And time is money, not just for us, but for you. And if you have mistakes and you have to redo things over and over again, that's not just costing the DIY people time, it's costing them money. So in the end, when you hire a gc, we are the ones facilitating the entire process.
We're handling all the subs, we're handling all the permits. We understand how to handle the bureaucracy with the cities. Every city's different. Maybe you're in a county, maybe you're in a city. We'll help navigate that entire process, meet with the inspectors, basically everything. We're gonna give you the contractors discounts for the materials.
And when you're, when you're doing a DIY approach, you don't get any of that. You have to do it yourself. And there's something really cool and admirable about doing it yourself. But if your goal is strictly to save money, it doesn't always happen. So just think about that and think about the benefits of working with a general contractor.
