Deckmaster Fine Decks designs, builds, repairs and refinishes decks, patio covers, arbors and pergolas for residential clients in Sonoma and Marin Counties. The company works closely with its customers to determine the best design attributes to satisfy their properties’ long-term needs. It only uses high-quality products from leading manufacturers, such as AZEK synthetics, EverGrain composites and Superdeck staining materials.

Owner Weston Leavens is a well-respected expert in the decking industry with more than 25 years of experience. Mr. Leavens is the inventor of the Deckmaster Hidden Fastening System, which has become the industry standard for solving problems created by water seeping through nail holes and causing deck decay. He’s also a past winner of the National Redwood Deck Contest, and he won the 2008 “Build a Deck, Win a Deck” contest sponsored by the California Redwood Association.

Deckmaster Fine Decks designs each deck to blend with the architecture of the customer’s house and integrate with the surrounding landscape. “We combine the skills of a framer and a finish carpenter, so our decks look like beautiful pieces of furniture when we’re done,” says Mr. Leavens. The company also provides complimentary consultations that cover everything from legal considerations and project designs to site evaluations and troubleshooting.
