Here are a few to consider:</p> <ul> <li>If you work in law enforcement, there are several things you can deduct on your taxes, including your gym membership (law officers are required to stay in physical shape), uniform dry cleaning bills and shooting range expenses (considered practice for work).</li> <li>If you’re a plumber, roofer or other type of tradesperson, any part of your garage that’s designated for storage of a work truck or work-related equipment can be claimed as a tax-deductible space, as long as it’s used exclusively for that purpose. </li> <li>If you sell products like Avon cosmetics or Tupperware and have a closet in your home devoted to storing your inventory, you can claim this as a tax-deductible space.   </li> <li>If your job entails a lot of driving, you probably keep track of the miles traveled to and from jobsites.
