Responsible Roofing has been under Paul Elmore's ownership since it was established in 1976. The company is a full-service business that does virtually every kind of roofing, from slate and tile to wood shakes and shingles. They also fix dry rot, install skylights and gutters and do sheet metal work.

All work is performed by Responsible Roofing employees—they do not use subcontractors. That gives them better control over quality and allows them to give very personal customer service. If there's a problem during any phase of the roofing process, the customer need only contact Responsible Roofing to have it resolved.

Responsible Roofing offers a 10-year guarantee on every roof that they install. Additional manufacturers' warranties provide even longer term coverage for materials.
