After working as a foreman in the concrete
industry for five years—even running the
company for a six-month stretch—Sean
Molloy knew he was ready to set out on his own. His company can handle any concrete work, from foundations, retaining walls and driveways to interior floors and countertops. They provide the layout, excavation, forming, grading and placement of the concrete, and have the expertise to ensure proper curing.

If you’d like to dress up your new patio or
driveway, concrete can be stained in a variety of colors and/or stamped in a wide range of patterns. Or you may prefer exposed aggregate, which is achieved by removing the top layer of the cement paste to reveal a decorative coarse texture. Decorative
aggregates include natural stone, recycled
colored glass, and even seashells. The aggregate is either mixed in with the concrete prior to pouring or seeded onto the surface afterward. Because of its durability and skid resistance, exposed aggregate is ideal for surfaces such as pool decks.

Concrete countertops are very popular now—and only partly due to their durability. They can be given the look, texture and feel of quarried stone such as marble, granite and limestone with the addition of stains, coloring pigments, various aggregates and epoxy coatings, but the end product is unique and natural looking.
