Marble City opened its doors in 2002 and moved to its current location in San Carlos in 2004. Owner Andrei Gourji has a degree in mining engineering and learned the stoneworking trade from his father in Siberia. Mr. Gourji is familiar with every step of marble and granite fabrication, from extracting stone from the quarry to installing the finished product in your home. That’s literally learning the business from the ground up.

Marble City specializes in kitchen and bathroom countertops, but they also do shower walls, fireplaces, stair steps, and anything else that can be fashioned from natural stone slab. Their stone products are imported from all over the world, and only the best specimens are selected. Marble City uses thicker 1¼" material that is more durable than what most other companies offer, but remain competitively priced. With their 1¼" material you will not have a seam across the final edge as you would with standard ¾" materials. The customer gets a superior product at substantial savings.
