Fred Faber was a high school student when he embarked on his first remodeling venture and helped a friend rebuild his house. Mr. Faber went on to spend time in the military and found a career in manufacturing. Years later, he returned to the construction industry to establish Bay Area Traditional Builders, Inc., The San Mateo-based company focuses on kitchen and bathroom remodeling and room additions for homeowners in South San Francisco, Palo Alto and the Peninsula region. In addition, they perform termite and dryrot repair. They also build fences, decks and a variety of other wooden structures.

Mr. Faber and his crew are professional, conscientious and believe in doing a job right the first time.
