"When we have a problem, he does the diagnostic; he figures out what the first major problems are and then goes even further into detail; anything that is detectable he finds it, then he prices it and lists it by priority, he suggests what needs to be done for safety or for reliability, and then he listens to what I can do now and what I can do later; he schedules very well, and he calls when it's ready; usually he beats his schedule, so that if something like parts takes longer to get, he leaves himself room to get it; he keeps in touch with me; he calls when he's working on it to discuss anything; he has been 100% on everything; his diagnostic capabilities helped with purchases of a few vehicles; as we negotiated for the vehicle, I went by Dave's recommendation; the vehicles have worked reliably since then. When a car comes back and it's still a little rough because of some strange issue, he does lots of research in his network of resources and took care of it NO CHARGE, he had to figure it out. He doesn't give you BS; he goes to extreme lengths on his own time; always clean and neat, friendly, always nice to you, he carries the phone around while he's working on the cars, he answers politely and professionally, he is the best mechanic in the Valley, he keeps it personal and remembers about you, he's excellent about customer service, he knows his stuff, or else he knows how to find out about it, he handles one customer at a time, I see lots of people come back over and over again, he refers me to good people, he's classy."
