Helming’s Auto Repair opened its doors on April 1, 1976. They still joke about the fact that they had no customers that April Fool’s Day. Things have definitely changed. Mike and Leane Reelfs took over Bob Helming’s successful and well respected business in 2001 and carry on the tradition of being one of the area’s most reliable sources for auto repair. The Reelfs call Mountain View home and enjoy living and working in their community.
Helming’s Auto Repair is a small shop with a family feel. But don’t let the size fool you; Mike and his ASE Certified Technicians have over 50 years combined experience. They have the expertise to do everything from an oil change to a smog certification to major repairs. They’re also renowned for electrical problem solving and fuel injection diagnosis and repair. All makes and models are welcome. With their 24-hour dropoff service you can leave your car when it’s convenient for you.
The technicians at Helming’s undergo continual training to keep up with the latest technology and trends in the auto industry. They’re a Clean Bay Business and use ecologically responsible methods.
